Nice gardens in a good setting. Near by Dunchurch village is quite picturesque and pleasent to visit. I would say the food was above average for this type of venue.
Bathroom tap dripped, not a big deal but slightly annoying.
Grounds of the hotel and decot of public areas were very good
Rooms themselves were disappointing
The freindly atmosphere and the service in the bar and restuarent, the space of all the facilites and the quiet.
It was close to the Polo crosse world cup venue
Room not in the hotel featured in the picture shown when booking, but in an ugly out building.Room also small and in need of updating. Also ventilation in room was poor, making room very warm on a relatively mild day.And the breakfast was only mediocre.
quick & friendly service
noisy extractor fan in bathroom, slightly small room & hard pillows
Great wedding marquee
Hotel rooms good but small. Hotel other areas tired need refurb and breakfast was terrible like being in a school canteen.
The surroundings. Peaceful location.
I ate a bar meal which I thought was formulaic and average
Friendly, helpful staff, nice location, good rooms, good breakfast, late bar and free golf.
Prices at the bar were a bit expensive.
Location and the food for a friend's Golden wedding was excellent
Small room and the tv was ancient with no freeview channels
A very comfortable and quiet location.
We would have liked to have eaten a dinner on Saturday night but none was available.
The main building of the hotel was beautiful in lovely grounds. Staff were polite and helpful.
The bedrooms were in blocks not attached to the main building and the bed was not very comfy.
Reception Staff were excellent. The Ladies who cleaned our room were superb, cheerful and helpful. The Bar Staff were really good, the food excellent and the grounds were breath taking. We had a fabulous weekend and are already recommending Dunchurch Park to our friends and Colleagues.
The staff on reception where very pleasant
The room was really small and the walls paper thin I could hear the conversation the people in the room above where having. The bed was awful it was rock hard and so uncomfortable.
The gardens were beautiful.
No sign posts to the hotel, staff couldn't give directions and thought it was on Church Rd. It's actually on Vicarage Rd and if anyone else gets lost that the turning opposite the Dun Cow - easy isn't it??
The first room I was shown was dirty and had chocolate and sweet wrappers all over the carpet. I asked for another room but in the next one I was shown there was hair all over the carpet - clearly they had not cleaned the rooms. The hotel stated there were no other rooms available so I refused to stay. The hotel then tried to charge me for 1 night's accommodation - when I complained and requested a refund on my credit card they then tried to charge a £15 admin fee. This whole process took a few days to sort.
