Generally good value for money hotel, in nice surroundings and convienient for my needs.
Had to change rooms as the tv was defective.
no Wi-fi in the room.
We were very excited to stay at the Dunchurch Park Hotel the minute we drove through the gate. We were not expecting such a wonderful setting and our room was very comfortable. We would definately stay here again.
The hotel grounds were quiet. Lovely to have a walk around the grounds and lake.
We booked a twin room but were allocated a double room.
The staff are lovely but dont quite make up for the poor standard of the bedrooms. The food in the bar was also really good.
Didnt get the room I booked and no refund offered. Towel radiator came away from the wall, toilet flush button broken. Room cold on arrival no heating put on. Not enough towels for 2.
Convenient location for our needs over the two days.
The double room was very limited for space.
Pleasant staff, good quality breakfast,
the organization, staff very efficient and friendly and beautiful location and good view. the rooms are small but very cute and very very clean,
Character buildings, good fittings, friendly atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Outstanding rate for the night
Very poor reception staff - no explanation of where I could get any food or drink, no mention of times or where breakfast was served in the morning when I checked in. I was put into what can only be described as student accommodation which had been tarted up with some nice fabric for the curtains to try to make it look better. It was really horrid!
I thought it was a bit expensive @ £75.00 p/night + £8 for breakfast while a colleague paid £50.00 all in. The difference being I booked through the internet and he booked by phone. I would have thought that booking on line would have been cheaper???
Renovation work detracts from the first impression and tv reception very poor if not non existant.
Wi-fi not working in room again!!!
We liked the fact that we were properly looked after by the staff, and the food was hot and fresh, or the salad was varied, the puddings were to die for and the place itself had a country manor feeling to it so all in all a very relaxing break even though we were at a conference
We found the hotel very relaxing and the staff very helpful and friendly, The only complaint is the shower was not very powerful and was not worth using
